makes it one of the best odd love songs ever. You put this on the mix tape, and a normal love interest will likely dump you. [Cheers for the abnormal!] Robyn Hitchcock was on fire in these sessions, and this is definitely one that you have to hear before you die. Changes to the Folder naming rules effective 2015-02-15

We have changed the rules that govern how you name the top folder in a torrent. For music torrents, in the past the rule was Album title for the minimum. Under the new rule the minimum will now be Artist - Album title. Any torrent not in compliance with this rule and uploaded on or after 2015-02-15 is subject to trump. Torrents already on the site as of that date are not subject to trump for being out of compliance with the new rule. They are grandfathered, and will not be trumpable unless they failed to comply with the prior rule, or are completely useless in identifying the contents of the folder, which also would be a problem under the current rule.


This means that there is no need to mass delete your torrents that don't comply with this rule. You don't have to make new torrents for your uploads unless you want to. The point of this rule is to make it easier to quickly see what material is in a torrent folder without having to investigate the files inside. It's politiness to your downloaders.


The new recommended pattern is Artist - Album (year) [format] (version/remaster information) Please try to use this whenever possible. Note also that the rule only applies to the top folder, what you do inside of that folder has not been changed.


Finally, we have decided to ban torrents that have top folders starting with a folder separator. These torrents violate the torrent standard, and are not supported in utorrent versions after 3.4.0, or in current versions of transmission. They are generally created by rtorrent, so if you use rtorrent to create torrents, please try to avoid this behavior. Utorrent's developers have asserted that torrents with this folder structure provide an attack vector. Because of the standards problem and the fact that major clients don't support these bad torrents, these torrents are subject to deletion, preferrably with a new version to trump the old.

Freeleech Tokens

Freeleech tokens allow you one free download of any torrent you like up to 1 GB. Whenever you have tokens to use, they will be displayed at the top of the page next to your required ratio:

Torrents that qualify for token freeleeches will show a FL link on the torrent page next to the DL link. Clicking the FL link will use a token on that torrent, and you will have a personal freeleech on it for 96 hours or until you snatch the whole thing (whichever comes first). The FL link also downloads the torrent, so there's no need to use the DL link after that. That also goes for seedboxers with WebUIs—you should only need to paste in the FL link to use a token and start the download.

Be careful when clicking the FL links. Tokens spent inadvertently will not be refunded.

Any torrents that you have made a personal freeleech with a token will be marked as "Personal Freeleech" on the torrent page. Once the download is complete it will no longer be marked as "Personal Freeleech".

Freeleech tokens will be given out solely at the staff's discretion. Asking for freeleech tokens is just like asking for regular freeleeches.

uTorrent 3 and uTorrent Mac users should not use the remote interface with the FL link. Doing so will cause your client to repeatedly use tokens on that torrent. Rather, click on the FL link to make the torrent a personal freeleech, and then use the normal DL link in the uTorrent remote interface.
FAQ

Can I use freeleech tokens more than once on the same torrent?
No. You can only use the "FL" link once -- if you download the torrent more than once, the download will be counted normally!

Where can I see what I have used my tokens on?
Go to your profile and look under your required ratio. If you click on "Tokens", it will take you to your token history.

Does everyone get freeleech tokens?
Sometimes. However, if your downloading privileges have been removed, then you cannot download using freeleech tokens, as removal of downloading privileges counts for all torrents.

Can I give my tokens to others? / Can others give their tokens to me?
No. They are personal and cannot be transferred to anyone else.

What happens if I do not use my freeleech tokens?
Freeleech tokens will not stay around forever. Any tokens that are left on your account will be removed once the freeleech token feature has run its course.

Are torrents downloaded with freeleech tokens counted in my required ratio calculation?
Yes. Any downloaded torrent on the site is recorded in your snatch list and will count in the required ratio calculation.

The tracker went down! What do I do?
You wait. Leave your torrent client running, and when the tracker is available again, your stats will be sent to the tracker.

Grundet den seneste tids ulovlige forsøg på login ved mange forskellige brugeres kontier, har vi i staff besluttet, at hele siden bliver nulstillet.
Det vil for den enkelte bruger betyde følgende:

Hi all,

For some time we (and other trackers) have some problems with some seedboxes sending really bad data to the tracker (too much Upload and Download).
Here's what we know:


I happens randomly.

It could be related with autodl.
It could be related with rutorrent (rtorrent/0.9.2/0.13.2 , rtorrent/0.9.3/0.13.3 and rtorrent/0.9.4/0.13.4)
There are NO problems with Deluge or uTorrent.

How to fix it.

Check your stats (be a good user, not just another ratio whore).
Remove that torrent from your client and report it to us (on irc channel or staff box).
Talk to your seedbox provider for a clean install of rutorrent.
If it happens again, clean install rutorrent or change client (to Deluge or uTorrent).
If it happens again and again and again, change the client.

Ignoring all this, will get you a free ratio reset.
